Combermere Abbey Cheshire wedding venue is a Grade I listed country house. Steeped in history, the abbey dates back to the early 12th century when it was a monastery. Situated in over 1000 acres of parkland the abbey is nestled on the Cheshire / Shropshire border between Nantwich and Whitchurch. You get spectacular views of the estate from the mile long driveway between the gatehouse to the Abbey. Combermere Abbey boasts several Victorian walled gardens complete with a fruit tree maze. The Edwardian glasshouse is an idyllic setting to share your vows. And the Pavilion is perfect for your wedding reception and evening entertainment.
Crazy Golf Setup Location
The lawns at Combermere Abbey are perfect for either our Wedding or Wedding PLUS packages.
What if it Rains?
In the event of rain we can cover the course with our 4 pop-up gazebos. We’d position the entrance to the gazebos close enough to the Pavilion entrance so as there’s only a short walk to the covered course. As well as the gazebos we carry a number of white golfing umbrellas to protect hairdos as you walk to and from the course.
Winter Weddings at Combermere Abbey
Unfortunately there isn’t any indoor space that we can use to set up the mobile crazy golf course. This means we can only do summer weddings between April and September.
