Having an indoor portable mini golf wedding entertainment option at your venue is always a good fallback should the weather be too inclement for us to set up the 9 hole mobile crazy golf course outdoors. In fact it may be preferable to us setting up the 4 pop-up gazebos to protect the course and allow your guests to play in the event of light rain.
During the winter months (from the beginning of October until the end of March) we can only set up Indoor Wedding Entertainment as it’s just too cold and the weather is too unpredictable for us to set up outdoors. Making sure your venue has enough indoor space for our crazy golf course for winter weddings is therefore imperative. Understandably some venues will have reservations that their property may get damaged if they were to allow us to set up the course indoors whether it be during the setup and breakdown of the course or during gameplay. We take great care during the setup and breakdown of the course to ensure that no damage is caused to doors/door frames furniture or carpets. Because we stay with the course during gameplay we can ensure guests abide by the rules and prevent accidents from happening.
From the moment Philip and Peter walked into Thicket Priory, we instantly had great chemistry with them, which for us as a venue is very important, we pride ourselves on our people skills, so we love working with likeminded suppliers. We have lovely wooden floors, and panelled walls in our Venue, and the care taken whilst setting up and dismantling the holes was flawless. The course has been beautifully made with so many fantastic features and details, with the ‘icing on the cake’ being that you get two very dapper gentlemen hosting the games, keeping track of the leader board and ensuring there is no foul play!! We can’t wait for them to come back for their next event with us. x
