Midland Hotel, Morecambe

The Midland Hotel Morecambe is an iconic Art Deco hotel situated on the North West coast of Morecambe Bay in Lancashire. The grade II listed ‘Streamline Moderne‘ hotel was designed by Oliver Hill and built by the London, Midland & Scotish Railway (LMR) in 1933. It may come as little surprise that the Midland was used in filming episodes of the hit TV series Agatha Christie’s Poirot in the late 80’s and early 90’s.

Left for many years abandoned and derelict, the hotel was purchased in 2003 by Urban Splash who, after a meticulous restoration process, brought new life to the Midland with doors re-opening to the public in 2008. Since 2009, English Lakes Hotels Ltd manage the day-to-day running of the hotel.

Crazy Golf Setup Location

On a clear, dry, non-windy day we can set up the course on the lawn area between the front of the hotel and the promenade.

What if it Rains?

If it’s raining or if there are moderate to high winds we would set up the course indoors.
